Rafał Mokrzycki is a Polish pianist. He is a winner of the Valletta International Piano Competition in Valletta, Malta, 2017. He has been awarded in many other national and international competitions: International Academic Music Competition in Jurmala, Latvia, Szymanowski In Memoriam Piano Competition in Warsaw, Poland and West-Pomeranian Piano Competition in Szczecin, Poland among others. He was a scholar of the National Fund for Children and Karol Szymanowski Foundation. Currently, Rafał Mokrzycki is a member of Henryk Wieniawski Association in Poznań, Poland.

Rafał has performed as a soloist and chamber musician in various concert halls all over the world. A unique place in his artistic work is dedicated to the music of Frederic Chopin, as he expressed in his debut album “Magical Chopin.” It exclusively features compositions by Frederic Chopin and was released by a label DUX in 2019. His second album, “Night Songs,” was released in 2021 under his own label Monochord.

Rafał Mokrzycki graduated with distinction from the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw and the Vienna University for Music and Performing Arts. The best music university according to QS-World-University-Ranking 2019.

Rafał Mokrzycki has performed in the National Philharmonic in Warsaw, Poland, as well as at the National Forum of Music in Wrocław, Poland, the Opole Philharmonic, Poland, the Koszalin Philharmonic, Poland, the Lviv Philharmonic, Ukraine and the Arnold Schönberg Center in Vienna, Austria. He has been being invited to perform at numerous international festivals i.e. Valletta Piano Festival in Malta, Gulangyu Polish Music Week in Summer in China, Sacrum non Profanum in Trzęsacz, Poland. Dni Muzyki Kameralnej in Piotrków Trybunalski, Poland, and International Paderewski Festival in Warsaw, Poland.

He has performed in many European countries, such as Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Ukraine, Japan, Latvia, Malta, Greece, Turkey, Spain, Belgium, Romania, as well as in China. His wide repertoire includes works from baroque to the present time.
